Impairment Rating /Permanent Partial Disability results are provided in a percentage calculated within the guidelines of the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 6th edition. This evaluation is performed after the injured worker has reached his or her Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI).
